2016 Women's AFCON: Florence Dadson insists they should have beaten Nigeria

Black Queens striker Florence Dadson says they should have won their game against Nigeria on Wednesday.

Ghana held Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in their second group game at the ongoing African Women's championship in Cameroon.

The Super Falcons took the lead when Asisat Oshoala challenged for a header and the ball bounced in off Ghana's Portia Boakye.But three minutes before half-time Ghana won a penalty and captain Elizabeth Addo the equaliser.

Ghana's Samira Suleman and Florence Dadson missed chances to win it.

"We should have won the game because we created lots of chances after we equalised," she said

"Now we have four points, we have to go into our game against Mali and score more goals to ensure we top the group."

Ghana and Nigeria are both on four points, with one game each remaining.
