2018 CAF CONFED. CUP: Felix Annan call for calm ahead of CARA return league

Published on: 14 February 2018

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has called on the supporters of the club to remain calm ahead of the second league against CARA Brazzaville in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors failed to take their chances in the first league held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium squandering three penalties before striker, Yakubu Mohammed climbing off the bench score a late penalty to give his side a slim win over the Congolese club.

Despite the 1:0 advantage, many football enthusiasts believe the Porcupine Warriors will find it difficult to qualify for the next round of the competition but the Annan believes all is not lost and they are ready to battle out for qualification in the return encounter.

“The supporters should not be discouraged by the results," he said.

"We really played our hearts out but what was destined to occur happened.

All is not lost yet, we have the men to battle for qualifications in the second leg.” he added.
