2018 CAF CONFED. CUP: Steve Pollack praises commitment and attitude of players ahead of CARA clash

Asante Kotoko head coach, Steve Pollack has praised his player's commitment and attitude ahead of their clash with CARA on Wednesday.

The FA Cup champions defeated the Congolese club 1:0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the first league in the preliminary round of the competition but squandered three penalties.

Pollack and his boys will be hoping to get a good result in the Brazzaville which will ensure their qualification to the next round of the competition.

And ahead of the crucial encounter, the former Berekum Chelsea trainer has applauded his player's commitment and attitude.

"We will play CARA on Wednesday and we are trying to put the players in a good shape," he told the media.

"For me, I don't think about our win in the first league because it is a new game that we are going to play and we know we are going to win.

"The attitude, the commitment and the team spirit have been very good since the last game and we all know what we are going in for and by God's grace, I believe we will get the results we all desire for," he added.

Asante Kotoko departed from the shores of the country on Monday morning with 18 man squad.
