Inter Allies fined for failing to control fans, hit with one match behind closed doors ban

The GFA Disciplinary Committee has ruled that Inter Allies will play their next home match without spectators and will pay a fine of GH¢2,000.00 to the Ghana Football Association.

Allies were found guilty of failing to control their fans after the their 1-1 draw with Ashgold at Tema.

Their fans were found guilty of attacking the match officials, insulting and hitting them on their back in violation of the GFA General Regulations and in breach of Article 58 and 66 (3) of the GFA Disciplinary Code and Article 35(2) and 35(3c) and (4).

Allies took the lead in the game through Frederick Boateng but were pegged back from a penalty which was converted by Dauda Mohammed.
