‘A demanding place’ – Rangers outcast opens up on time at Ibrox after temporary exit

Rangers striker Joe Dodoo has admitted Ibrox is a “demanding place” after sealing a temporary exit to Blackpool on a season-long loan deal.

The former Leicester striker has struggled to hold a regular place at Ibrox since arriving in 2016 and will spend the next 12 months at Bloomfield Road trying to re-establish himself.

The 22-year-old admitted he was looking to “bring the same feeling and mentality” to Blackpool as they look to win promotion to the Championship after missing out last term.

“It’s a demanding place, where you have to win, but that’s the same for all the clubs I’ve been at,” Dodoo said, as quoted by the Blackpool Gazette.

“I’m hoping to bring the same feeling and mentality here to win things and achieve great things with the club.”
