President of New Edubiase, Yakubu Abdul Salam have tipped Aduana Stars to clinch the Ghana Premier League title.
With only three matches to end the Ghana Premier League, the Dormaa based club are currently occupying the 2nd position with 45 points with three point’s difference between league leaders Wa All Stars.
Aduana Stars will play Techiman City in the match day 27 fixture at the Dormaa Sports Stadium on Saturday and in the match day 29 fixture, Aduana will play away to league leaders Wa All Stars at the Malik Jabir Sports Stadium at Wa. They will then play relegation threatened Inter Allies in the final fixture at home.
Many have tipped Wa All Stars to clinch the trophy but Abdul Salam believes Aduana Stars will be crowned champions at the end of the season.
Speaking to Asempa Sports, Abdul Salam said, “Aduana is in a good position to win the league.
“When I look at their chances compared to Wa All Stars, Aduana Stars have a better chance of winning the league. Hearts of Oak already out of the race and they will lose against New Edubiase even though Edubaise is already relegated but we will beat Hearts of Oak.
“With three matches left, the race is still between Aduana Stars and Wa All Stars but Aduana have better chance of winning the league title.” He added.
