AC Milan are not the only side who are sniffing around with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho keeping tabs on the midfielder in case he decides to leave Stamford Bridge.

The Spaniard has made it quite clear that he is happy at Stamford Bridge, but AC Milan are set to test his resolve bytabling a bid of£27 million, the same figure the Premier League side paid Barcelona to bring him back in 2014.

The Chelsea gaffer meanwhile is keen on adding another midfielder to his squad, but it is more likely to bring in another energetic player rather than a like-for-like replacement for Fabregas.
