AC Milan have announced a new four-year partnership with Italy's leading multimedia news agency, LaPresse, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The company will be listed as the Serie A outfit's exclusive photographic agency in a deal which will see LaPresse distribute all photographic content nationally and internationally from the club's private and public events.
The material will be distributed in Italy through LaPresse's publishing and online platforms. The overseas images, meanwhile, will be made available by LaPresse's network of international partners, which includes global industry leader Reuters, Chinese state news agency Xinhua and the UK's Press Association.
Marco Fassone, general manager of AC Milan, said: "LaPresse, for its experience in the world of sport, ubiquity and openness to the international market, is the ideal partner for AC Milan. Following our strategic lines of promotion and communication, this partnership allows us to develop our brand throughout the world."
"I am very happy to announce the joint venture with AC Milan," added Marco Durante, president of LaPresse. "This is an innovative agreement that stars Milan, the most prestigious Italian club in the world, and LaPresse."
