Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak could adopt the Tema Sports Stadium as their new venue ahead of the new campaign following the renovations of the Accra Sports Stadium.
The club that has played their home games at the Accra Sports Stadium would have to adopt a new home after several years of using the national edifice.
With the hosting of the Africa Women Championship later this year, the Ministry has started renovations of the Accra Sports Stadium.
The renovations of the Accra Sports Stadium is expected to complete in July, with the Ghana Premier League already ongoing.
"Hearts is looking at either Tema Park,El wak and Swedru to be used as our home because our meeting with the MOYS couldn't earn us an opportunity to use the Accra Sports Stadium even though it's under renovation ,we were suggesting some part be closed so we can use it but till July,they say they won't allow us" Hackman Aidoo ,administrative Manager of Hearts told Oyerepa FM.
It is understood the club has started talking with the management of the Tema Sports Stadium for next season's Ghana Premier League.
