Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Adjah Tetteh is confident the club can win the Ghana Premier League after nine years without a major trophy.

The 20 times Ghanaian Champions have been on a barren spell in almost a decade, a run that has been bedeviled by several agitations from fans and some members of the club.

Meanwhile, Adjeh Tetteh, a member of the successful Accra Hearts of Oak team that won several league titles and continental trophies believes the club can win the league next season.

“They can win the league,” Tetteh told Zylofon FM. “It will depend on their preparations and their determination.”

“What I can tell the players is that, the reports of Hearts not winning the league in almost a decade should inspire them to break that jinx.”

“I have absolute confidence in the team and I believe they can win the league.”

Adjah Tetteh won the Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup with the club in the early 2000’s.

Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak are preparing for the new season after finishing third in the last campaign, they were runners up in the FA Cup.
