Aduana Stars lost their first game in this season's Ghana Premier League to Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium last week Saturday.
The Dormaa side considering their fine start to the season were favourites to clinch all three points but they endured a 2-1 defeat.
For attacker Zakaria Mumuni, this will urge them to do more in their subsequent matches.
“Yes we dropped points and it is not good for us but we somehow needed the defeat as a group of players," he said
“The defeat will rather motive us and make us work harder as we look to cement our place at the summit of the table.
“We will respond immediately when the league returns on April 1”.
