Aduana Stars bankroller Nana Agyemang Badu II gives $25,000 to the club for participation in CAF Confed Cup

The Dormaahene and the owner of Aduana Stars Osegyefo Oseadeyoagyemang Badu II today has released an amount of $25,000 to the playing body for their performances in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The amount was delivered at Abanpradease, the biggest palace in Ghana to the leadership of the playing body led by Yaya Mohammed, Paul Aidoo, Akuoko Emmanuel, Joseph Addo and Elvis.

Nana Dormaahene expressed his gratitude to them for their exploit in the competition so far.

"Am proud of you for your performance and I have absolute trust in you," he said.

He appeals to his charges to be strong and do well in the remaining two matches.

Yaya Mohammed, the skipper of the side, thanked Nana for the gesture and assured him of their maximum effort.

He said,"We the are playing body are very happy for this."

"We are surprised by this and Nana have shown how committed he is to the team."

"There is no football activities in the country and for this gesture, we are absolutely relieved."

Meanwhile, the players will share it base on the number of matches. With the highest receiving $1,200.

Some will also pocket $700 and least taking $300.
