Aduana Stars hitman Yahaya Mohammed seeks to set goal scoring record in Ghana

Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed has set his sight on scoring a lot of goals this season to put his name in the history book of the Ghana Premier League.

The forward who returned to the Ghana Premier league after stints abroad, has scored 11 goals in 17 matches for his club Aduana stars who lie 4th on the Ghana Premier League table.

Despite signing a deal with Mexican division two side which will see him leave the country after this season, the hitman wants to set a record before departing.

"I want to score not less than 22 goals in the league to make record for myself and my club Aduana stars" Yahaya Mohammed told Happy FM Anopa Bosuo Sports

Yahaya played for Ghanaian clubs including Tema Youth, Kotoko, Amidaus Professionals and currently Aduana stars but he is yet to score as many as 20 goals.

The 28 year old is expected to lead the attack for Aduana when they take on Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports stadium this Sunday.
