Public Relations Officer of Aduana Stars, Appiah Kubi have disclosed they won’t give up on clinching the Ghana Premier League title.

The Dormaa-based club are currently occupying the 2nd position with 45 points, three points behind league leaders Wa All Stars.

Ahead of their next GPL game with Techiman City at home in the match day 28 fixture on Sunday September 11, the Public Relations Officer of the club believes the team are poised for victory.

“All we want to do is to go out there and pick the three maximum points on Sunday. Over the last few days I have had the opportunity of watching Coach Cioba Aristica put the boys through their paces and I have to say that come Sunday I am very confident we are going to beat Techiman City." Appiah told Class FM in an interview.

“We need the three points very badly, as anything less than that would mean kissing our league ambitions good bye,” he stated.

He added that the players were ready to win the league in honour of the overlord of the Dormaa Traditional area, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II.

“They want to win the league for Osagyefo Oseadeayo Agyemang Badu II. You know he celebrated his 50th birthday this year and for the players, it would be a great honour to achieve this feat for the great king,” he said.
