Ghana's Youth and Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpujye has promised to sort out the Black Queens players today.

The Black Queens took to the streets of Accra in protest of their bonuses and allowances for qualifying and participating at this year's Africa Women's Championship.

The players are owed over $US 30,000 each after placing third and winning bronze at the championship.

“We meet with the Sports Minister, he spoke to us, though we are not convinced, he promised to get us our money tomorrow (Friday),” striker Samira Suleman said.

“We will take another action by marching straight to Flagstaff House and see the President of our monies our not paid on Friday.

“This is an amount dating since our participation at the All-Africa Games in Congo, our qualifying bonuses as well as other bonuses including the recent one in Cameroon.”
