Agyeman Badu wants Steve Pollack maintained to transform Kotoko

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Agyeman Badu has called on the club to give English Coach Steve Pollack as he reshapes the club into a winsome team.

The Porcupine Warriors have already made changes at the technical bench of the club twice this season.

Kotoko parted ways with Croatian Coach Dzravko Lugarisic midway in the first round of the season before appointing club legend Frimpong Manso as interim manager but was asked to leave after the first half of the season.

Kotoko have struggled this season, pushing for the appointment of Steve Pollack as new head coach and Agyeman Badu thinks the former Berekum Chelsea bois should be given time.

“There is a new coach in charge now. And to me, even if Kotoko finishes 13th at the end of the season, coach Polack should be maintained even for two more years,” he told Agoo TV.

“I watched them play against Aduana few weeks ago at Dormaa. You could see he knows what he is doing and the players are working for him,” he stated.

Coach Steve Pollack has lead the Kumasi based side to the quarter finals of the MTN FA cup and are fifth on the League table.
