Ghana international, Albert Adomah made his Premier League debut on Saturday as his Middlesbrough side began their campaign with a 1-1 draw.

Boro coach Aitor Karanta named the winger on the right side of a 4-2-3-1 formation for their home game at the Riverside Stadium.

The 28-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game.

Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo opened the scoring in the 11 minutes but Stoke talisman Xhedran Shaqiri equalized with a sublime free-kick in the 67th minute.

Adomah made 43 appearances last season and scored six goals as Boro qualified for the premiership.
