Ghana winger Albert Adomah has emerged on the radar of English Premier League side Newcastle United.
The Toffess are planning to move for Adomah should they be unable to sign Andros Townsend from Crystal Palace.
The 30-year old impressed last season for Villa and nearly secured qualification to the EPL.
He scored 14 goals in the Championship last season to help Aston Villa to the Championship play-off final.
