Former Black Stars player Anthony Baffoe has not hidden his excitement on seeing the backroom staff of the Black stars made up of former players.

The FIFA Football coordinator is the president of the ex-footballers association and he was full of praise for former Captain Stephen Appiah’s appointment as Welfare Officer.

“I have known Stephen Appiah, he is one hard working gentleman, and we saw how hardworking he was during his time as the Black Stars captain,” he said on GTV’s Sunday night Live show.

“I believe he will do a good work for the National team, he is dedicated in everything he does and I am very sure he will succeed in his new role at the Black Stars.

“He has a very good relationship with the players and that is going to help a lot, that is very key.”

Stephen Appiah replaces Nii Sabahn Quaye as team manager and will help Kwesi Appiah achieve his goal.
