Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly both preparing bids for Borussia Dortmund youngster Christian Pulisic.

Liverpool bossJurgen Klopp was keen to bringthe 18-year-old winger to Anfieldin the summer, but Dortmund rejected the Merseysideclub's bids.

And, according toCalciomercato, the Premier League'stwo North London clubs are now ready to swoop for Pulisic.

The Bundesliga club are reluctant to sell the USA international, though, despite him signinga contract extension less than a year ago with his current deal runs until 2019.

Pulisic has impressed under Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel, withsix assists and two goals in 15 games in all competitions so far this season.

It was Klopp who promoted him through the ranks during his time at the club, and the German coach is clearly an admirer. Liverpool are expected to make another attempt to pry him away from BVB in January.

The interest of Arsenal and Spurs could make it difficult, while PSG have also been mentioned in the race for his signature.

Arsene Wenger could see Pulisic as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez if the club can't agree a new deal with the Chilean, while Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bring in another youngster to his youthful squad.

It's unclear what price Dortmund would demand, although it's likely to be a hefty fee considering their reluctance to sell.
