Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck in Ghana for holidays

Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is in Ghana for holidays after the end of the season.

The 26 year old has been in the country for weeks now and is based in a town in the Ashanti Region call Nkawie where he hails from.

The former Manchester United striker is hanging out with friends and family after an exhaustive season where he helped Arsenal to FA Cup triumph.

The Ghana Football Association tried in persuading the lanky forward to join the national team of Ghana but opted for the three lions.

Welbeck popularly known as Nii Tackie in Ghana has big admiration for the West African country.

Danny Welbeck will leave the country to join his Arsenal teammates as they begin preseason in Sydney-Australia.
