The bad luck continues for Jack Wilshere with reports suggesting he has suffered a broken leg.
The English midfielder, who is on a season-long loan at AFC Bournemouth from Arsenal, sustained the injury in the weekend's loss to Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Sky Sports, scans have revealed a crack in Wilshere's left fibula which is an injury similar to the one that saw him sidelined for much of last season with the Gunners.
This fresh injury worry for the 25-year-old casts his future into further doubt with the Cherries now unlikely to sign him permanently in the summer.
It also places an enormous cloud over his time at Arsenal with his contract set to expire in 2018.
Wilshere, who has featured 27 times in the Premier League for Bournemouth, will now miss the remainder of the 2016/17 season.
