The Confederation of African Football will hold the draw for the preliminary round of next year's continental club competition today.
What this means is Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko- Ghana's representatives in Africa will know their opponents.
Aduana Stars won last season's Ghana Premier League and by virtue of that they will participate in the CAF Champions League with Asante Kotoko playing in the CAF Confederation Cup, having won the MTN FA Cup.
This will be their third time in the CAF Confederations Cup after being finalist in 2004 and a group stage finish in 2008.
The preliminary stages of both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup are set for February, 2018.
