Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have attributed the club's inability to win away at Bolga All Stars to the harsh weather conditions in Tamale. The club blamed their 1-1 stalemate on the poor nature of the Tamale Utrecht Academy pitch as well as wrong calls by referee Ortis Oppong on the day. A video released on social media also showed how the home fans tried to intimidate the referees after the game. Yakubu Mohammed’s first half goal was cancelled by a second half equalizer by Bolga All Stars midfielder Noah Neequaye to earn a point for his side. Kotoko return to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as they host WAFA in match-day 7 on Wednesday.
