Asante Kotoko want FA Cup quarter final game postponed

Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have told the MTN FA Cup Committee they are not ready to play in this weekend’s MTN FA Cup quarter-finals game with lower division side NEA Salamina.

The Porcupine Wariors are recovering from a bus accident they had two weeks ago enroute to Kumasi after a Ghana Premier League game in Accra with Inter Allies.

The medical team of the club are yet to pass all the players fit to begin training after rigorous medical examination.

Kotoko's request to have their game postponed has necessitated for a meeting which will be held today to determine the way forward.

Meanwhile, the other matches in the MTN FA competition is scheduled to take place on July 29-30.
