Aston Villa owner Tony Xia set to block any move for Jordan Ayew.

Chairman, CEO and owner of Recon Group Dr Tony Jiantong Xia has confirmed Ghanaian international Jordan Ayew is set to stay at Aston Villa for next season.

Ayew who was the club’s top scorer last season has been linked with a host of clubs so far this summer but Xia is not ready to let go of the star man.

The Chinese businessman took to his twitter account to announce the stay of his side’s marksman for the coming season.

Ayew was one of Villa’s star performers in the Premier League, and it was widely expected that he would leave following their relegation to the English Championship but Xia has revealed that Villa will not listen to offers for the Ghanaian forward this summer. The news is a huge boost for Claret and Blues supporters and Roberto Di Matteo’s squad. The 24-year-old netted seven times in 30 appearances last term in the Premier League.
