Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey to get more play time next season following injuries to midfielders Augusto Fernandez and Thiago Cardoso.
The midfielder did not travel with the Black Stars team for the International friendlies against Mexico and the United States after Club side Athletico Madrid requested for him to be dropped.
The 23 year old has played a periphery role at the club in recent times coming off the bench most often including in the Champions League finals two seasons ago.
Partey signed a new deal with the club after clubs from all around Europe showed interest in him.
Coach Diego Simeone has reposed his confidence in the young Ghanaian who he assured will get more play time.
