Big blow for Ghana as defender Awal Mohammed has been ruled out of the Black Stars B CHAN final leg qualifier with Burkina Faso.
Awal is down with malaria and have not trained with the team since Wednesday.
By virtue of that, the technical handlers have handed a late call up to Asante Kotoko defender Ahmed Adams to fill in the gap.
Coach Kwasi Appiah and his team must avoid any form of defeat to qualify for the tournament after securing a 2-2 draw in the first leg last weekend in Ouagadougou.
