AWCON: Black Queens meet Nana Opoku Ofosu Gyeabour II as the team continue preparations

The female national team of Ghana, Black Queens have arrived at Techiman to continue preparations for the upcoming Africa Women’s Cup of Nations which kicks-off in November.

The team met with the Koasehene and Mawerehene of Techiman traditional area Nana Opoku Ofosu Gyeabour II in his palace.

Nana Opoku is also owner of the great Women’s soccer club Ampem Dakoa Ladies.

Queens left the Ashanti region on Saturday for Techiman after pitching temporal camp in Kumasi where they played and won two friendly games against Kumasi Soccer Academy Ladies (4-0) and a select side of Ashanti region (2-0).

Bashiru Hayford and his charges are preparing for this year’s Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
