AYC: Black Satellites skipper Issahaku Konda optimistic of victory

Black Satellites skipper, Issahaku Konda has reiterated that his side is determined to qualify for Niger 2019 ahead of the second leg game against Benin on Sunday.

The former World Champions won the first leg by 3-1 after Richard Danso bagged a brace with Konda scoring the other as the team travels to Cotonou with a two-goal advantage.

Speaking to Accra based Oman FM after their friendly game against Cheetah FC, Konda is confident ahead of the game on Sunday.

“My boys and I are determined to qualify for the African Youth Championship, preparation is going well in camp, and we are learning a lot of tactics ahead of the game. I can say we are having a good preparation,” Konda said.

The Wa All stars defender also confirmed that all the players in camp are for fit and ready for the battle on Sunday.

“There are no injuries in camp, just some minor ones. But everyone will be fit on Sunday for the Benin encounter” he added.
