Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Mahama has promised to deliver for the club after scoring the winner in the teams win over Tema Youth in the Ghana Premier League.

Mahama who scored the only goal for the team to progress in the MTN FA Cup scored a belter to secure all three points for the club on Sunday.

The former Techiman City skeemer struggled under Coaches Zdravko Lugarisic and Frimpong Manso but suddenly has become the main man for Steve Pollack.

“I am really happy I scored the goal for my team, we need the win badly, and I thank God I was able to come to the party,” he told reporters.

“I think there is more to come, Baba Mahama has more to offer to Kotoko, I just pray to be fit.

“And any time I am given the opportunity to play I will surely deliver."

Baba Mahama was named man of the match after the game.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will next face Accra Great Olympics at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
