Baba Rahman in high demand this summer

Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman, who’s currently on loan at Schalke 04, is looking likely to leave the club this summer, as he’s attracting a lot of interest from clubs around Germany, Italy and England.

The Ghanaian international has been injured with a serious knee problem since the African Cup of Nations in January, but according to Goal, that hasn’t deterred clubs around the continent to be keen on signing him.

Schalke though aren’t thought to be keen on signing him on a permanent deal once his loan spell ends, as he’s not going to participate to the remaining games of the season.

But he’s likely to be fully fit before the start of pre-season campaign, as he doesn’t have any complaints with his recovery according to the source.

Chelsea signed Baba Rahman in a £21.7m deal in August 2015, but he failed to make an impact for the Blues outfit under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink.
