Ghana left-back Baba Rahman is set to join German side Schalke on an 18-month loan deal.
The 24-year old is reported to have arrived in Germany for a medical at ahead of the deal.
It will be Rahman's second loan stint in Gelsenkirchen, having spent four months at Schalke at the start of last season.
The former Augsburg defender cost Chelsea an initial fee of £14million when he joined them in 2015.
He featured in 13 Bundesliga games during his first loan spell with Schalke.
