Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde insists there's no active plans to sell Andre Gomes next month.
Despite his bit-part role, Valverde is adamant he wants to keep the Portugal international.
"I would like to continue with André Gomes. He will be an important player in the coming years. He is a great footballer with many qualities," said the coach.
"I'm counting on André Gomes. I do not want to sell him."
For his part, Gomes is concerned his lack of action will see him miss a place in Portugal's World Cup squad for next summer.
