Croatia and Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic has reportedlyemerged as a target for Barcelona due to the La Liga champions missing out on signing Nolito.
Barcelona were said to be keen on bringing the Celta Vigo man to the Camp Nou, but the winger has opted to join Pep Guardiola at Manchester City next season, leaving them searching for alternatives.
It is understood that a deal worth £13.8m is close to being sewn up, and City will be announcing the signing any time from now.
According to Catalan publicationSport, Barca have now turned their attention to Perisic, a player whom Liverpool have been monitoring as well.
The 27-year-old Croatian has been one of the brightest players at the Euros this summer, scoring a late goal to help his country sink Spain in their final match of the group stage onTuesday.
The report also claims that Inter are willing to consider offers for the player, and will have no problems letting him leave for around £19m.

Jurgen Klopp's side have already been knocked back following a bid for Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell. AndSlovakian defender Martin Skrtel is also set to leave Anfield, with Inter tipped as a likely destination.
Liverpool could miss out on Leroy Sane as well, with City planning to bid for the Schalke man despite having captured Nolito.
Barcelona, meanwhile, are considering their options, and are pushing to land playmakers before the start of next season, due to the long drawn-out negotiations over Neymar's contract extension.
