Basigi: Princesses boss looking at building a strong team despite limited time

Ghana U20 female coach Yusif Basigi believes his side will be ready for next month's FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in France.

The Princesses have stepped up their preparations ahead of the competition which kicks off on August 5.

They are expected to embark on a tour of Spain to fine tune preparations but coach Yusif Basigi insists they are making do with the limited time training at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.

"Since we came we have realised there is no much time on our side so we need to put in a lot of training sessions together in order to catch up with time so we are combining a lot of things," he told Joy FM

"You could see that we did a lot of things  today just to put the girls in shape and build them for the task ahead.

"The limited time has been a challenge but we will make do with the time."

Ghana is in Group A with hosts France, New Zealand and the Netherlands.
