Chief Executive Officer of Bechem United, Kingsley Osei Bonsu has disclosed that his side is ready to represent Ghana in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup competition should they win the MTN FA Cup final against Okwahu United at Cape Coast on Sunday.

Bechem United made it to the finals of the 2016 MTN FA Cup following their impressive performance and was able to eliminate Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Wa Rockets to set up a final with Division One side Okwahu United, who also won their semi-final clash against Liberty Professionals in an exciting penalty shootout.

Speaking to Accra based Class FM, Kingsley said, “There is no way we are going to relax; we are definitely going to compete at the continental series.

“You know we’ve been outside on a number of occasions and I don’t think it is going to be a problem. I trust my bankroller and president of the club and he is capable of doing it. Maybe government and corporate organizations can also come in to help us.” He added.

The final of the MTN FA Cup will come off Sunday September 4 at the Cape Coast stadium.
