The hunters opened the scoring in the 30th minute when Charles Mensah slotted in perfectly before Abdullai Mohammed hit the nail to coffin to seal victory for the champions.
The Premier League side controlled the game for the entire duration leaving the third tier side with no threat as they made it to the round of 32.
