Sports betting company Safaribet is set to be the title sponsors of the Ghana Premier League from next season,this is according to a GHANAsoccernet.com report.
The 2015/16 Ghana Premier League has been without title sponsor and this will come as a great relief to both the Ghana FA and the Premier League clubs.
In an exclusive interview with Mr. Halit Karabasoglu, CEO of Safaribet, he disclosed that talks are far advanced with the Ghana FA for his outfit to sponsor the league next season.
“We are in talks with the Ghana Football Association to sponsor the 2015/2016 league,” he said.
Mr. Halit added that his outfit is also considering of establishing a soccer academy in the country as they aim at making great impact on Ghana football.
Safaribet has been operating in Ghana since 2012.
