Black Princesses Coach Yussif Basigi calls for support in crucial World Cup qualifier against Cameroon

Coach of the female national under-20 of Ghana, the Black Princesses, Yusif Basigi has called for massive support ahead of the final World Cup qualifier against Cameroon on Sunday. 

The Black Princesses managed a 1-1 draw in Yaounde a fortnight ago and will need a scoreless draw or a win to qualify for France 2018.

Ahead of the crucial encounter, Yusif Basigi indicated the team will need the support of the country as they put the final pieces together for the clash on Sunday.

“We need their support so badly, we need them to give us all the necessary morale support in order to boost the girls confidence and they should also pray for us,” Basigi told Ghanacrusader.com

The Black Princesses have been superb in the qualifying run, brushing aside Algeria and Kenya along the way and will count on the goals of in form Priscilla Adubea to finish off Cameroon.

The Ampem Darkoa ladies attacker leads the goal scoring chart in the qualifies and her performances has been eye catching as she scored the equalizer in Cameroon.

The team were in Papua New Guinea in the last edition where they were eliminated from the group stages but the team in poised on reaching France 2018 and making history at the tournament.
