Black Princesses forward Sandra Owusu-Ansah says the team will avoid any form of complacency in the second leg fixture of the FIFA under-20 women’s world cup qualifier against Kenya on Sunday.

Ghana is leading the tie 5-0 following an impressive first leg performance in Cape Coast, where Ampem Darkoa Ladies striker Priscilla Adubea scored four times.

However, former Black Maidens Stars Sandra Owusu- Ansah insists despite the 5-0 thrashing of the Kenyans, the tie is not over yet.

“I don’t think is over yet, yes we won 5-0 in the first leg match, it doesn’t mean we have qualified,” Sandra told the media in Pampram.“In football anything can happen, they know they can also beat us there, so we must stay focus and approach the game well,” she added.

“Playing them at their backyard won’t be an easy task but we will go there and make Ghana proud.”

The Black Princesses will be leaving Ghana on Thursday for the game in Nairobi on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the team has been boosted by the receipt of some of their bonus in arrears.

Sandra Owusus-Ansah was part of the team that represented Ghana at the FIFA U-20 world cup in Papua New Guinea, two years ago.
