Black Princesses to leave Ghana for Algeria on Tuesaday ahead of World Cup qualifier

Ghana’s Under-20 female football team, the Black Princesses, will leave Ghana for Algeria on Tuesday September 12 ahead of their  2018 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier against Algeria on Friday, September 15.

A contingent of 18 players and 8 technical team members and officials will leave for Algiers on Tuesday after weeks of preparation under the tutelage of Coach Yusif Basigi.

The Princesses will play the first leg away to the Algerians and host the second leg next week in Accra.

This qualifying campaign will begin the Princesses quest for a fifth WWC appearance, having made their debut in the 2010 event in Germany and qualifying for subsequent competitions.
