The first leg of the final 2019 Africa Youth Championship qualifier between the Black Satellites and Benin has been rescheduled to May 5 at the Cape Coast Stadium.

According to coach Jimmy Cobblah, an agreement have been reached to fulfil the game in August contrary to the supposed July 13 for the encounter.

"It has been officially decided to play the match on August 5 and we are preparing for that".

The National U-20 team saw their game with Benin halted following government's decision to place an injunction on all football activities after an investigative piece by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

But after a meeting between club owners and a liaison team which was formed by government to temporarily take over management of the sport in the country, it was agreed to move the team to camp.

Coach Cobblah, however, confirmed his side moved to a residential camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Center at Prampram on Monday, July 9, to commence preparation for the clash.
