Black Starlets Captain Eric Ayiah named in top 60 talents to watch

Ghana under-17 captain Eric Ayiah has been named by respected news outlet, The Guardian as one of the best sixty young talents to watch in the coming years.

The Black Starlets leader raised a lot of eyebrows with his phenomenal displays at the Africa Junior Champions in Gabon earlier this year, finishing top scorer with four goals.

The Charity Stars striker helped Ghana return to the FIFA under-17 world cup for the first time in ten years after helping the Black Starlets to second place at the Africa Junior Champions.

His performances saw him linked with top European clubs including Portuguese giants Porto.

Born March 6th, 2000 the 17 year old loves the number 6 jersey and explains it signifies his day of birth and also a way to pay tribute to Ghana who gained Independence from the British on March 6th.

Other players in the list includes Brazilian wizkid, recelently signed by  Real Madrid Vinicius Junior, Africa Junior Championship winner Hadje Drame of Mali and English born Ghanaian Callum Hudson-Odoi.
