Ghana under-17 goalkeeper Dan Lad Ibrahim says he wants to win the golden gloves at the upcoming FIFA under-17 world Cup in India.

The Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper was best goalkeeper at the Africa Junior Championship earlier this year where he considered just a goal in open play. His exploits helped Ghana to second place at the completion in Africa.

Dan Lad Ibrahim says he dreams of replicating his form at the World Cup insisting he wants to win the golden gloves, something he has deeply written in his diary.

''I even have it in diary that when I go to the African Cup, I will go and win the Golden Gloves and I did it,'' the budding talent told Kwese Sport.

''And I'm doing the same thing, so I'm training towards what I want to target in the World Cup and I'm very sure I will be the best goalkeeper.''

The 15 year old is part of the team preparing for the World Cup at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of excellence.

Ghana are two times Champions of the world Cup and last made it to the global stage in 2007.
