Berekum Chelsea striker Stephen Sarfo insists there is keen competition for places in the Black Stars team B.

The striker also maintained he will work hard to keep his place in the team despite the competition in the squad.

Stephen Sarfo has been one of the top strikers in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 8 times for club side Berekum Chelsea.

However, he faces competition from leading goal scorer Nicholas Gyan of Ebusua Dwarfs and Bernard Ofori of Medeama.

“Every player invited to the team is good, and I must say there is competition, from goalkeeping, defenders, midfielders and attackers, there is competition,” he told Ghanasportsonline.com

“So for me I know I have to do well and work hard so I can stay in the team, every player wants to stay in the team because is a big honour to represent your country at international level."

Coach Kwesi Appiah invited 30 players for camping and they have been involved in a couple of friendly including playing the national teams of Benin and Gambia.
