Ghana and Chicago Fire forward David Accam joined the fun at the 28th Edition of Ghanafest held in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Ghanafest, the biggest festival of Ghanaians in the Diaspora, which is organized annually, brings together the Ghanaian community in Chicago and elsewhere in the United States to celebrate indigenous Ghanaian culture and heritage.

The event which was held on Saturday 30th July, 2016 saw a colourful durbar of Ghanaian chiefs, ethnic communities, display of traditional food and drinks and boasts of DJs from around the world playing traditional Ghanaian and dance-hall songs with Gyedu Blay Ambolley also storming the grounds with his music.

David Accam who is billed to play for his side in the MLS against New York Red Bulls on Sunday, took to the durbar grounds to celebrate and pose for a picture with Chairman of the event Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, President and Chairman of Groupe Nduom, who recently acquired the ISF Bank in Chicago and the Ambassador of Ghana to the United States Lieutenant General Joseph Henry Smith.
