Black Stars to readjust plans after botched Guinea friendly

The Ghana Football Association will have to quickly adjust their plans for the Black Stars for their upcoming 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius after a friendly against Guinea was called off.

Black Stars coach Avram Grant wanted to use the friendly which was supposed to come off this Saturday in Paris, France to prepare the team for the penultimate Group H qualifier.

But following the cancellation of the game, the Israeli trainer must now tweak his plans.

The Black Stars will now have to train in Accra before flying over to Mauritius.

Ghana will book a slot at the 2017 AFCON in Gabon next year if they even record a draw against Mauritius on June 5.
