Blackburn Rovers keen on Montreal Impact striker Dominic Oduro

English Championship side Blackburn Rovers are considering a move for Montreal Impact Ghana international, Dominic Oduro on a temporary deal in the January European transfer window.

In spite of the Rovers heavy investment in the off season with the acquisition of well-established strikers like Danny Graham and Anthony Stokes, they have been languishing at the bottom half of the table with only three wins from fourteen games.

And the coach of the side, Owen Coyle has identified Dominic Oduro as possible solution upfront to help boost their chances of surviving relegation after the pair’s time in the U.S when Coyle was coaching Houston Dynamo in the Major League Soccer.

In Oduro’s first season with the club, he used his notorious pace and goal scoring ability to help the Impacts on the break during their CONCACAF Champions League run in which they lost 5-3 on aggregate to Mexican outfit Club America in the finals. Having played for seven teams in the MLS, his personality is as well known as his speed.

He scored nine goals and six assist in the 2016 MLS regular season to help Montreal Impact qualify to the play-offs, where they will play against D.C United on 27th October at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial stadium.
