Bolga All Stars coach Baba Musah Mallam has praised his owner Abdulai Alhassan for playing a part in their premier league game with Hearts on Wednesday.

Abdulai Alhassan who doubles as the Northern Regional Football Association chairman made history by becoming the first club owner to play in the Ghana league.

He managed just 25 minutes in the game after coming on as a substitute in the second half.

“He is still young even though he is into administration i still think that he has some football in him we can benefit because in our Ghanaian league that is what the media has been complaining about,” said coach Baba Musah Mallam

“We don’t have that experience players in the league, when somebody wins the best player of the season, the next season, he will be out of the country. We want people who have played in the game, he has played outside and he is back, definitely it will be our wish to see more of these players who have played outside to be playing in the league.

“So it is good that he has found himself back in the team and i will be expecting more from him in the second round.”
